12/8/2023 EnchantaVaughn Approved 1.Behavior: Individual session to educate JaCarei on appropriate conflict resolution skills. Session held in the community due to a lack of privacy in the home JaCarei was in a positive mood. 2. Behavior: JaCarei participated in the session and he did not need any redirection from QMHP-C for the remainder of the session. He was cooperative and attentive while participating to the fullest. 1.Intervention: QMHP-C taught JaCarei conflict resolution skills (e.g., empathy, active listening, âI messagesâ respectful communication, being assertive without being aggressive and compromise). QMHP-C conducted a therapeutic discussion to gage the JaCareiâs understanding of healthy conflict resolution with his siblings and peers. 2. Intervention: QMHP-C educated JaCarei on the importance of learning to interact appropriately with his siblings. QMHP-C taught JaCarei that aggression is not a constructive way to address issues. JaCarei was prompted to acknowledge that his anger is out of proportion to the precipitating event. 1. Response: JaCarei stated that he gets into arguments with his brother and others âbecause people try to take advantageâ. JaCarei stated that he only argues with his sibling when they get on his nerves. JaCarei listened actively to QMHP-C and appeared receptive to the education. JaCarei was able to verbalize some methods of conflict resolution such as walking away before getting to upset, and telling his mother. 2. Response: JaCarei appeared to understand and agreed to utilize strategies to learn to resolve conflict without aggression. JaCarei was able to except responsibility for his easily provoked anger. JaCarei was able to acknowledge that his anger is out of proportion
